Bonneville News

If you happened to have been in Utah in August during Speedweek, you may have seen a bearded man in a hat, jeans, and boots, taking pictures at every  possible opportunity. That man is Peter Vincent; he’s been traveling to the Bonneville Salt Flats on photographic missions for more than 20 years.

If you did bump into Peter, he might have handed you a postcard (looking a lot like the image at the top of this post) advertising the upcoming book that we are publishing. The back side of that postcard shows a mockup of the book’s cover, as well as the slipcased limited edition version.

Peter is flying out to Minnesota next weekend so that he, designer John Sticha, and I can put the finishing touches on the layout for the book. We’re all extremely excited about the pages we’ve been putting together. The presentation of Peter’s photographs in this large-format book is going to be something to see and treasure.

Follow Stance & Speed on Facebook and we’ll be sure to post some snapshots as we’re working. And, of course, don’t forget to pre-order your copy of the book, which is scheduled to arrive early in 2013.

New Site

Welcome to the new Stance & Speed website. First, apologies for the site being down for a while. Unfortunately the old site needed to be deleted and rebuilt from scratch. I’ve taken the opportunity to simplify things a bit.

It will take some time to get all of the author bios and book information in place here; your patience is appreciated. In the meantime, you can order any of our books here, with a simplified checkout procedure that I think you’ll like.
