Michael Harley is editor-in-chief of Autoweb. He is the former west coast editor at Autoblog and a contributor to Excellence, Panorama and European Car magazines. His professional experience with high-end, low-volume automobiles has earned him seat time in some of the world's most exotic driving machines from AMG, Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, McLaren, Pagani, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce.
A passionate automotive enthusiast, and an admitted Porschephile, Michael has served as editor-in-chief of Der Auspuff, the Santa Barbara Chapter of the Porsche Club of America publication, earned a Short Track Series championship with the Porsche Owners Club in a BSX-spec Boxster, and graduated from the 911 GT3 Cup Experience with the Porsche Sport Driving School at Barber Motorsports Park.
Michael lives with his wife and two children in Southern California, where he may be frequently found enjoying his pristine 1986 Porsche 930 in the challenging canyons along Mulholland Highway.
